East Coast Lumber Donates $25,000 to YMCA Camp Tricklin’ Falls for Future Expansion
East Coast Lumber's donation will support the YMCA of the North Shore's initiative to provide memories to last a lifetime through summer camp.
For those at the YMCA of the North Shore, a new lodge at Camp Tricklin' Falls has been only a distant dream for some time. East Coast Lumber has made a donation to kick-start this project, in hopes that others will follow. We believe that camp is not just a place for kids to spend time during the summer. Camp promotes healthy youth development - both physically and mentally. It's a place where children can learn and grow with their peers, as well as develop the skills that encourages growth as a person. We hope that once this new lodge is constructed, it brings in additional revenue and allows more children to enjoy a true summer camp experience. Read the full press release below.

It is so important to the work that we do that every child has this opportunity.”

, said, “Our support of the YMCA Camp Tricklin' Falls stems from our own camp experiences. Camp is a safe place for kids to learn and bond with their peers, take in the great outdoors and have some good old-fashioned fun. We hope that this new lodge will not only provide additional revenue to the camp, but also help fund needy families and allow more children to enjoy a true summer camp experience. As a locally-owned, family-run business, it's always a pleasure to give back to the community, but it's much more rewarding knowing the kids will be enjoying themselves, and the summer, at Camp Tricklin' Falls creating memories they will never forget.”
The Plaistow Community YMCA helps 2,400 youth and teens learn, grow, and thrive. The Y offers licensed childcare programs, summer day camps and a wide variety of youth programs.
